The Greater Cleveland Chamber of Commerce has different committees that head up different projects. Below you will find our complete committee listing. Be sure to click on the Committee name to see our members that make up that committee.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS 
Our Board of Directors dedicates themselves to the oversight of the Chamber. They meet once a month to discuss all the ongoings within the chamber. They are responsible for making all of the budgeting and all other major decisions. 
AMBASSADOR PROGRAM 

The Ambassador Program/Member Services Committee is responsible for the following:

Assisting with Chamber Events such as Business after Hours, Member Breakfast, Member Lunches, etc.

Assisting with communication to members about events.

Conducting the "three touch" program where the ambassadors visit members face to face to discuss their thoughts on Chamber Events and the Chamber in general.

 
CHRISTMAS IN CLEVELAND COMMITTEE 

The Christmas in Cleveland Committee shall be responsible for the following:

Planning and conducting the Christmas Event conducted by the Chamber

Drafting and submitting to the Board of Directors a proposed budget for the Christmas Event at or before the Board Meeting at least two months prior to the scheduled event.

 
COMMUNICATION COMMITTEE 
The Communication Committee shall be responsible for the following: Drafting the content and submitting the same to the Cleveland Post for the monthly Chamber page published by said paper. Work to develop lines of communication between members and the Chamber. 
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE 
The Economic Development and Government Affairs Committee has the following responsibilities: Communicate to our members the agendas for local government meetings so that our members can attend those meetings that consider issues affecting Cleveland. Organize and conduct Town Hall Meetings at such times as the Board of Directors may deem appropriate. Inform members as to government action taken that affects Cleveland. Inform our members of any economic development opportunities for Cleveland that may arise. Maintain a constant line of communication between local government officials responsible for economic development so as to keep our members informed. 
EDUCATION COMMITTEE 

The Education Committee shall be responsible for the following:

Working to develop methods through which the Chamber members can assist local schools while also promoting their business.

And such other duties as may be delegated to the committee by the Board of Directors from time to time.

 
NOMINATING COMMITTEE 

The Nominating Committee shall be responsible for the following:

Those duties assigned to the Nominating Committee under the By-Laws, which include but are not limited to the Nomination of members to serve on the Board of Directors and for Directors to serve as Officers.

 
REVERSE RAFFEL COMMITTEE 

The Reverse Raffle Committee shall be responsible for the following:

Planning and conducting the Annual Reverse Raffle for the Chamber.

Preparing a proposed budget for the Reverse Raffle to be approved by the Board of Directors no later than the meeting at least two months before the Reverse Raffle is scheduled.

 
STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL COMMITTEE 

The Strawberry Festival Committee shall be responsible for the following:

Planning and conducting the Strawberry Festival Event conducted by the Chamber

Drafting and submitting to the Board of Directors a proposed budget for the Strawberry Festival Event at or before the Board Meeting at least two months prior to the scheduled event.
